Exploring the fertile hills in a mountainous land form, the novelty of Antipolo from its history up to the present time has evolve into a dynamic and economic progressive town of Rizal on which was recognized as a city at Feb 1998 by its locality. Antipolo is also identified as one of the provincial service center that was included in the in the projection of CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) master plan, it anticipates that the growth of Antipolo as a subregional or provincial center will promote the development of the other towns of Rizal and also be the center for employment and shall provide the major types of services of Rizal's growing towns. The proposed Rizal general hospital is a part of a development project that was included at the comprehensive development plan of Antipolo city to be able to support and match the needs for hospital facilities for its satellite towns. this proposal is also aiming for a broad responsibilities for the growing population in Rizal province.
