| Summary, etc. | Ang Pambansang Diksiyonaryo sa Filipino ay isang lumang-bagong proyekto. Luma, dahil nagsimula ito noong 1995 at nagkaroon na ng dalawang edisyon noong 2001 at 2011. Bago, dahil taglay nitó ang lahat ng mga pagbabago sa bokabularyo ng wikang Filipino sa loob ng kasalukuyang siglo. Ito ang pinakamatanda at pinakakomprehensibo sa mga buháy na diksiyonaryo sa Filipinas. Kaagapay nitó ang kasaysayan ng Tagalog mulang 1513 hanggang maging Pilipino nitóng 1972. Samantala, tinutupad nitó ang mandato ng Konstitusyon na paunlarin ang Wikang Pambansa sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanib sa karunungan ng ating mga wikang katutubo at ng mga modernong lahok mula sa Ingles, Español, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, at ibáng wika ng mundo. |
