520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The key question is this: climate change is now widely accepted as being a reality, so, is it a natural process in a sequence of climate changes that have occurred over the pale climatic record or is it being driven by humans? If we hold to the former view then all we can hope for is to adapt as best we can to the climate disruption. On the other hand, if we accept that it is largely human induced, then it follows that we ought to be able to do something about it. Human kind has always been searching for solutions that will help them dominate the natural elements by ensuring the opportunity to live a peaceful and safe life. Time after time over the centuries has applied its technical knowledge to set free themselves from the fear and the power that nature opposes. Sometimes the solutions adopted have been effective but some other times they have created the worst conditions that have negative and trapping generating systems. To save life, properties, and infrastructures and to avoid the tragedies brought by the different calamities, the Prototype Calamity Resistant Two-Storey House will provide a shelter for the people that resist in those calamities especially in typhoon, earthquake and flood.
