The Teaching profession has been struggling to keep pace with the changes in society and the accompanying challenges of the technological world. With the notion that the teacher education, which consist of the pre-service education of teachers (PET) and the in-service education of teachers (INSET), has been unable to bridge the growing gap between the needs and expectations of learners, and the knowledge and skill levels of both new and existing teachers, the TEDP was conceived.
