Summary: Mindoro is a province of rich, culture, family customs and tradition reflecting in every Mindorenos, creating a very unique character of the province. The twelve (12) months of a year is present in every family, spiritual, cultural and traditional occasions making Mindoro a festive province which is one of the basic desire in putting up a Shopping Center that could adapt the province character. Some of the culture and tradition of the province are the Moriones Festival, which is held annually by the folks to re-enact the Pugutan as part of the ritual. Religious festivity held during the Holy Week. Every 15th of November celebrates the Sanduguan festival which re-enacts the first historical trade and cultural contacts between the negatives of the island Ma-I (Mindoro) and trades from China. Sanduguan is done in reconsonance with the founding anniversary of Oriental Mindoro. This historical trading tradition is one of the important influence in commercial trading of the province. The province is abundant in terms of local necessities and basic needs like fruits, palay, handicraft, clothing capable of transporting in some parts of Metro Manila. These culture are some of the basic desire in putting up a Shopping Center in Calapan. Adaptive in the sense that the relationship of such facility to adapt the functional activities present in the province and providing development in commerce and trade of the city concentrated.
