Summary: For decades, coconut has been the major source of income in the province of Malinduque. The coconut crop is converted and processed into copra. It provide other uses like oil and soap. Besides coconut, rice and corn and the rest of the agricultural planted with vegetables, fruit. trees and root crops follows the income generating sources. Coconut is defined as the fruit of the coconut palm that is drupe consisting of an outer fibrous husk that yields com and a large nut containing the thick edible meat and in the fresh fruit, a clear fluid called coconut milk. Coconut also is a fruit of life.
