"PINOYWOOD" is nowhere near as productive or prodigious as America's HOLLYWOOD; it is still a potent force. Philippine cinema today is still in the predicament, torn between easy profits of bankable movies and creeping need to give the country's middle class something more than the usual. There is a dire need for the industry's reboot and as a primary move the proposal of a Movie Based Theme Park and Filming Studios is in need. Since Manila and other neighboring town lacks space potential the proponent had chosen the town of Sta. Rosa in the province of Laguna for it is known for its vast industrial, commercial and agricultural lands and there are future projects to be developed by different companies.
