Cauayan airport, located in the rice granary of the North which is in the province of Isabela, with an area of 44.8 hectares is an existing and functional airport, however, further developments are needed in lieu with the increasing percentage of tourists and travels. While there are existing facilities, its current operations are limited in accommodating large numbers of passengers from other parts of the country. The airport is of high convenience to people who wants to travel faster and more comfortable easing the 12-hour land travel. It is most helpful to the future business investors and travelers who wants to invest and visit the beautiful spots of the province. The goal of the proposed project in developing Cauayan Domestic Airport is to cater more local and foreign tourists. It aims in making more expedient and accessible travel experience. Furthermore, as the airport accommodates a greater population of people going in and out of the province, it also attracts more investors in the business industry hence helping the growth of their economy. The government of Isabela is currently working on the progress of tourism in the province as they make way in improving the accessibility of the tourist spots through the development of the domestic The terminal building will be developed through transforming it from a very simple building to a more modemized and eco-friendly design thus creating more facilities for the increasing number of travelers in and out of the province. This are the reasons that inspired the researcher to make this project: "New Development of Cauayan Domestic Airport."
