Summary: The project is an Islamic center that contains a mosque and school. The mosque is for public and it provide the comfort and tranquility for worshipers. It also contains alms Center to collect from people and distribute to the needy people and supporting sessions of memorizing holy Quran and Hadith, for children and public. As for the school, it contains two majors, advocacy and Quranic sessions. Specialization will be for four years and will be supported by the Ministry of Education. The project will take place in the city of Khan Younis due to lack of Islamic centers in the city.The Islamic Center propose to build in Khan Yons in an area of 15,000 sq.m., which shall have a symmetry design were mostly used in islamic architecture. Hence, this will incorporate in traditional and contemporary design. Traditional architecture of the country means that the structural materials shall include bricks and stones. Contemporary design shall highlight and well-being of the patients for building codes of Philippines were reviewed, compared, and analyzed for proper guidelines of a school and mosque.
