Camp Bagong Diwa is a military reservation, which is included in Presidential Proclamation 423 dated July 12, 1957 by then President Carlos P. Garcia. Under Proclamation 423, it was iBåthdrawn from sale or settlement and reserve for military purposes, under the administration of the Chief of Staff of the Arned Forces of the Philippines. On of March 1964, the request for authority to occupy Bicutan area as a permanent site of 1st PC BCT was approved by the AFP as evidence/indicated on the 3rd endorsement from the adjutant general, AFP, Colonel C P Dela Cruz to the Chief Constabulary.
