The Rizal State College, originally named Rizal National Agricultural School (RNAS) and later Rizal College of Agriculture and Technology (RCAT) one of the two state college in the province of Rizal. The College which was established as a Chartered State College on June 24, 1983 through enactment of Batas Pambansa blg.622, was renamed Rizal State College pursuant to republic act no. 7858 effective January 21, 1995.
It is set atop an elevation of 1,800 feet above sea level in the Sierral Madre Mountain range and is overlooking the panoramic view of Laguna de Bay and the surrounding lake towns. It is 18 kilometers away from the town proper and about 72 kilometers away from Manila.
