Summary: I heard that OPM music is dead because they said that we, Filipinos are so much "in" to international music that in such ways we can't appreciate our own music. OPM is alive; in fact, some of our music is cross across foreign countries. As An Architecture student who really loves and passionate about music, especially OPM, that I want to erase the mind set of Filipino People that OPM is dead, by building a "home" for OPM artists, and to gather them in order to uplift our own music, I, as an architecture student would like to come up a home for Filipino artist to do their music, record their music, develop their music, and share their passion in music. I conceptualize for a music complex, a center for music that houses indoor and outdoor music hall, office for OPM officers, Rehearsal studios and recording studios and to add some spice is I also come up to put College of music degree program in this structure and other facilities and offices. My goal in this complex is to gather all concerned artist that will continuously uplift OPM music, to create bright Filipino artists that will share beautiful music all over the world, to house concerts events whether foreign or own, and to boast our passion in music.
