The focus of this research study is to create and develop an Economic Housing using a standard shipping container that is located in Brgy. 177 Camarin North Caloocan City. The study aims to show to the community in Caloocan City and also to the Philippines, what else can be than by the Shipping Container in a housing development. It also aims to provide a housing in Caloocan especially to the people who can't afford to rent to have a house. It will also accommodate the people in Bagong Silang which has the highest population and highest number of people who live as squatter in Caloocan City. The proposal will also analyze the proper planning and design the proper connectivity and interaction between the people, structures and environment. The proposed Economic Shipping Container Housing adopt a various concepts and ideas and combined as a whole. The Site Development of the project will utilized the environment, facilities and also some of the passive design will benefit the entire project for a long term period.
