The idea of writing a book on the supervised schools came as a necessary response to make the institute's purpose of giving a human and Christian education to the young, especially the poor, a reality in the De La Salle Philippine district's understanding of the world-wide Lasallian mission transplanted from its origin in France to Philippine Soil.
