In the Philippines, the traditional commercial centers are now evolving and developing into a more entertainment-based activity center rather thanjust purely retail. Commercial centers and shopping malls are slowly turning into small cities with integrated mixed-use and multi-use developments, offering shopping, dining, working, entertainment, cultural, religious and park-like settings etc. The recently built shopping/commercial centers are now becoming a source of comfort for the urban community. It offers a wide variety of services, business, and entertainment. It provides benefits and opportunities for the whole community including business companies, government, and consumers. This thesis proposal entitled "VR Square: A Proposed Sky Garden Commercial Complex" envisions to introduce new modernized architectural approach that will surely catch the eyes of the target visitors. A shopping mall with the much-needed breath of fresh air and pocket of green in the thriving metropolis. It is a perfect place to relax and admire the view while enjoying shopping. This new concept of commercial complex will enhance the economic condition of the locality.
