Research in recent times has provided limited evidence on making waterbirth a prevalent alternative for women to welcome their babies into this world. According to Pinnette, Wax, & Wilson (2014). Water birth was first described in the medical literature in 1803, where a group of doctors reported that a woman with prolonged labor delivered her child after water immersion. It is vital to focus on the experience of waterbirth from the mother's lens.
