Disasters are sudden disruptive events that cause havoc impeding the activities of a community. Educational institutions which nurture children and youths are prone to these disasters which may put their lives in great danger. Hence, educational institutions should prepare itself before, during, and after a disaster. Being well-prepared and well-oriented about disaster preparedness is an advantage to help a community from impending disasters.
