The Philippines sought danger listing to raise national and international support and cooperation in the preservation of the heritage site. Even though in 2012 UNESCO has removed the Rice Terraces from the list of sites in danger, the conservation and management is still a challenge to continue, a living cultural; landscape preservation of natural resources, restorations and conservation are continuously conducting.
