The neighborhood social environment has been identified as an importance aspect of the well-being of the people within the community. Lack of cohesiveness in a neighborhood can have difficulties in obtaining support, especially for people who are living with mental illness. A community center can drastically improve the social cohesion because it is a space that brings the community into one area and provide numerous activities and events that keeps the community involved within their neighborhood and with each other that will improve their quality of life, not only does community center serves as place for social activities but also as a place of guidance for citizens who are in need of help.
