Malolos is an agricultural municipality and base on statistics, most of them are farmers or in agricultural business, like rice grains production of the 115,504.26 hectares rice land area, about 387,761 M. T. from rainfed land. An aggregate total of 474,907 M. T. of palay was harvested in 1995. The leading municipalities in terms of rice production are San Miguel (92,635 MT), San Ildeponzo (56,144 MT) and Baliuag (44,711 MT). Aside from this very important agricultural product, the rice. Bulacan also produce fruit vegetable, leading is the tomato with an estimated production of 594.6 metric tons. In terms of rootcrops their is camote and ube the major rootcrops being harvested in the province. Total production of camote was 354.2 MT and 20 MT for ube.
