Summary: Artocarpus odoratissimus B1. (Family Moraceae) locally known as "Marang" is an endemic plant in the Philippines predominantly in Bacolod and has been used in various medical conditions. According to the folklore, Artocarpus odoratissimus leaves were used as scabicide and a treatment of wound inflammation. The fruit is used as a hypoglycemic agent.
