The Series proposal arose from discussions between two of the editors (Tony Bush and Ray Bolam) about the need for a review of the academic discipline of educational management in the light of the significant changes in policy and practice during the 1980s and 1990s. The aim of the Series was to redefine the subject to take account of the many developments in policy, practice, theory and research since educational management first became established in the United Kingdom in the 1970s. | ||
