Starting from backyard tourism wherein local residents accept both local and foreign guests, tourism in Puerto Galera has flourished. There arc a thousand things one can do in Puerto Galera, but water is certainly the main attraction of this island. Crystal clear and shimmering especially in the hot summer months, the sea framing. Because the sea here offer one of the riches aquatic resource in our country, it is best to provide a Coral Research Center which would ensure the safety of life underwater. This center would be concentrated mainly on coral preservation and some aquatic animals living their lives in endangerment and are close to extinction. The reserve would provide facilities which would be capable in enriching the aquatic resources of Puerto Galera. Furthermore, the project is also concerned in providing facilities which would promote environmental awareness to the community it is of the development of Puerto Galera, the project is mainly concerned with. It would provide knowledge opportunities both to local and foreign users of all ages in Oriental Mindoro.
