520			_aTourism has played a tremendous role in the development of leisure-based establishment today, including resort and hotel industry. This served as the key interest of the research study, to design a Beachfront Luxury resort in Calatagan, Batangas that fits the demand influenced by tourism. The research recognizes and analyses different factors which include world and national tourism economy, modern trend in hospitality management and latest building engineering and technologies in terms of sugarcane waste as building material. These factors were gathered from primary and secondary sources, from first-hand information to technical literature, which are relevant and important in the analysis and decision making of the researcher. By understanding and relating these inputs from various sources and actual measurements, which include documentation and site analysis, allow the research to formulate the appropriate design for a Luxury Resort that can represent unique hospitality and world-class leisure dwelling.
