As the child's cognitive abilities mature, children's imaginations become vivid, fearing monsters and other imaginary characters. The evolving ego and cognitive function enable children to think about the past and anticipate the future, consequently transforming their responses to fear. Child psychotherapy includes supportive play, behavioral modification, and cognitive therapies. Regardless of treatment approaches, they must be family based, conducted in a culturally manner, and enhance social and emotional well-being and development in primary schools. Play therapy is an individualized innervation that offers children a symbolic way to express feelings, anxiety, aggressions, and self-doubt.
