The setting of the city In the middle ot Manila Bay to the West and Laguna de Bay to the south that limits the opportunities that spread some opportunities traffic from south and north on many axes of circulation this results to the congestion in EDSA even there are other roads provided to lessen the traffic. Major factors of the factors of the congestion is the major shopping mall along EDSA, And the second is nigh no. of bus terminal particularly in cubao area which provide the interregional service from the province area or other area. This are the main reason of congestion m EDSA due to blocking of lanes while entering and exiting the terminals.
